Gargantua Graphic Novel... Book 1

It’s been a long-standing tradition to think of giants as ugly, stupid and brutish. As far back as the Arthurian tales it was thought that the bigger a giant is, the dumber it is. Think about it though, giants would have to be intellectually superior to humans since their brains are larger.

So, this depiction of the stupid giant is all wrong. In Francois Rabelais first of five books his character Gargantua has a powerful intellect. He’s scholarly, witty and of unlimited strength. I believe you’ll appreciate this different approach to the old myths of the almighty giants.

Cheers!
